About Shock the World Art
As a retired English teacher and school librarian I have always respected the beauty and majesty of the written and spoken word, but as a baby boomer raised on movies, television and comic books it is the visual image's power to evoke emotion, enlighten and entertain that captivates me. My favorite lessons were analyzing political cartoon and marveling at the artist's ability to almost instantly inform, persuade and amuse. Through the artists' creativity, visitors to this site will find images providing a unique perspective on our world.
